Tom Tom Tom, your food is always good. Your staff is always nice. Your prices are just fine. As I say about both here in Idaho Falls, and poky..... Clean and paint dirty floors run rampant with this owner. But this one here, this specific Toms lost major points with me. I walked in to order my usual, first time and last time. Place stinks like a bar, cigarette smoking allowed inside in the back. Over powering, kitchen staff smoking in back because it's allowed???? You can literally got to Toms 2 aka Wranglers Roast Beef two blocks away on Holmes and not have your nose and tasty buds offended by smoke, and I'm a smoker.

Went here again, this time for dinner, and it smelt a bit like cigarette smoke, so we went to the other location instead. Good thing they're so close to each other. Ordered steak fries and a wrap, which were both good. Recommend that first timers stick to the gyros, because those are what really make Tom's a special place.

Okay the facts this a tired greasy spoon looking place, BUT the gyro is great. Sam (female) is very careful to make sure the food is excellent. The gyro is all I can speak to. It is packed! With gyro meat. I came in at 4:00 and was worried the meat was going to be dried and left over from lunch. It was fresh and great fresh fries. Cudos to Sam and doing a great job.

Not a good first impression. I ordered two gyros and two burgers, three fries, and an onion ring. They forgot one of the fries, and didn't salt them anyways, they didn't label the burgers or gyros; one of the gyros was ordered without tomatoes because the person it was for is allergic; they also forgot the side of blue cheeses I asked for. My burger was good, though, and I'm probably going to be sent here again on a food run, so I'm not going to give them a bad rating. I'll specify that I need food labeled, and I'll check my order before I leave to make sure they don't forget anything.

If you've never had a good gyro before, you're opinion may vary. The food took forever, staff was mediocre, and the atmosphere was hardly inviting. I ordered a mushroom steak gyro, it tasted a lot like a store-bought microwavable gyro, like rehydrated meat. There are a few decent joints in this down, but sadly this isn't one of them.

This place is amazing. Been coming here since I was a kid. The fries are always amazing and their fry sauce is the best in town. My favorite is the bacon mushroom swiss burger. They also have great gyros.

To be very honest if I wasn't getting my car inspected I would probably never eat here. The over all environment is kind of damp, run down a bit but homey at the same time. The food here is of course delicious but unless you're a local or you're okay with flies flying around your table and others this is not the place to take a first date or eat at while driving through. Good little local burger joint though.

It's wonderful to find a local place that's family owned and who takes pride in the food that is served. The staff is always nice and on point! The food is fresh and always filling. I highly recommended eating here!

Decor of this place outside and in is great. A real dive, something my town doesn't have. My town also doesn't have a Greek restaurant, so I was ready to eat at a place like this. I got a gyro with a Greek salad and a beer. The gyro was above average. The Greek salad was not the style I'm used too and was only OK. I'd definitely go back and try so other stuff though.

Stopped by here by chance when my truck was being worked on next door. Came here to get a Gyro, something I hadn't eaten in quite some time. I got a Open Faced Gyro special. Gyro plate was very tasty, but the salad came with WAY too much dressing. I'd like to come back and try the burgers as it seems everyone is saying they are a good choice too.

This place has a lot of mixed reviews, and I can see why. I didn't have a very good first experience. I came in for lunch. The restaurant was not super busy, but more than half of the tables were full. The lady who took my order appeared to be new. She seemed confused as to how to operate the cash register and take orders. I had a very simple order: a gyro. That's all. I asked if I needed a number, and she said no, she'd remember. Twenty minutes later, I could see people who had arrived after me being served. I decided to wait two more minutes before going up to complain. Luckily, a different server came over to my table just then and explained that they had gotten a couple of the tickets mixed up. I told her I had to get back to work soon and she assured me my gyro was ready and on the way. The lady who had initially taken my order served me a moment later and apologized, which I thought was the right thing to do. I wish the wait had been worth it, but honestly the gyro was not so good. The meat and tzatziki sauce were rather flavorless and there was way too much sauce on it. However, the pita was good and the vegetables were fresh, and the cool veggies and sauce contrasted nicely with the hot meat and bread. Overall, the sandwich was a two out of five, and so was the service. I would like to come back in a month or two, though, and give them another chance. I know how hard it is working a new job, so I hope the lady who mixed up my order sticks with it and gets her footing. I'll update my review later.

With the exception of the Blue Wave, Idaho Falls just doesn't seem to understand or appreciate a good dive. These places should be and NEVER try not to be dives. I don't know how long ago it changed from the previous restaurant - I'm not from here - but the fact that you can still see the Wrangler logos on the building is your first sign that this place is legit. I've been here probably a half dozen times since living in Idaho Falls and I've come to count on a few things: cigarette smoke, the CONSTANT flow of their close family and friends walking in and gossiping about their life events which could also double as narration for an episode of COPS, someone fixing an engine or flat tire in the parking lot, and those freaking creepy dolls on display with hand-written prices stuck to the case. I'm not kidding you, look for these things and you will see them! I have never tried anything other than their gyro and fries and I love it! I have a weak stomach so they make me CRAZY sick but it is soooo worth it. I can't see the cook but I imagine a 400lb man back there smoking 5 cigarettes at once, getting the atmosphere nice and comfy for us out in the front. Does that make me not want to eat the food? No! Why? I DON'T KNOW! It is good food and I enjoy the live show!

Not fancy but good gyro and burger place at a good price. The cucumber sauce was a bit bland but the meat and volume of food made up for it. The staff was very friendly.

Best gyro that I have had west of the Mississippi. I got the Gyro and some onion rings- the gyro was great, and the onion rings were good- but I have had better at other local places. It was my first time there- but I plan on going back for sure!

Love the gyros here! Must try if you're a fan of lamb and are in the area! Plus if one of the businesses is busy, there's another one right around the corner! Two thumbs up!

I became excited to eat here because of the reviews, but when I walked in I was completely turned off. It's so filthy (outside and inside restaurant) and ghetto. The smell of cigarette smoke filled the place, and the prices were outrageous. Spend your money elsewhere.

Love this place! I get the turkey pita and it's always delicious. Fries are fantastic and the fry sauce is out of this world!! It's a must try if you are in town. It may look a little shabby but it's a great place with great staff!

Souvlaki, gyro, and burgers The burgers are always good here and the gyro is plentiful with meat. I like it when I eat lunch and I get full enough to last me throughout the night. You get your monies worth here. Notable things to try. Feta burger, gargantuan burger, slovalki, and of course thief gyros.

Good place to eat. Awesome burgers. The gyros are pretty good. Not as good as Crown in Salt Lake but you definitely get a lot of meat.

I've been frequenting Tom's Gyros and Tom's Gyros #2 for the past couple months now. The restaurant has been around forever, and they just recently acquired Wrangler Burgers. So it's gotten even bigger and better, It's DELICIOUS and I would say it is well worth trying. Idaho Falls doesn't have any other Greek options (unless you count Pita Pit - and I don't) so this is so great to have once in a while. The lamb in the gyro is fall-apart-tender and sooo flavorful. Yum!

The Greek food here is absolutely delicious. I got the Greek platter which is divine, as is their baklava, and both are surprisingly close to authentic considering the area. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the place is quite a hole in the wall. I will definitely return often, especially since this is really the only ethnic food you can get in Idaho Falls.

Yummy gyros. The pita bread was soft and fresh. Good service in a family friendly environment. We'll be back.

The gyros are okay, but I prefer the souvlakis. Haven't tried the burgers, but they look good. The fries are good. The fry sauce is very mild. Haven't seen too many people eat in. Everybody seems to order ahead and pick up. After waiting for my food once, I completely understand why. Order ahead and you will be in and out with some decent take away food for a reasonable price.

GYROS! Hurray. I really should try something else on the menu, I mean I go in to try something new but alas the Gyros call out to me. They taunt me to eat them. And so...I do. The creamy yogurt sauce that they drizzle on top of the succulent tender spice lamb, really makes the wrap. I always get my meal with fries because I actually like the fry sauce at Tom's. it's light and not overly mayo tasting or thick. They have a small selection of beer if soda isn't what your in the mood for.

Based on the previous 2 reviewers praise over the gyro sandwich I thought I had to give it a try. It was one of the worst gyros I have had (and I have been to at least 30 different gyro restaurants). The meat was heavy (should be light) and didn't have a really good flavor, it was just OK. The pita bread was good. The lettuce inside is the kind you would find on a burger at McDonalds and the tomatoes were not fresh. Also, the restaurant is filthy. I wouldn't go back here is the meal was free!
